Free design consultation for Wooden Flooring & Laminate Flooring homes — we respond within 24 hours.
Wooden flooring warms up a room instantly, but the label hides real differences. Laminate is tough and affordable; engineered wood gives you a genuine timber top layer; vinyl (SPC/LVT) shrugs off water and suits kitchens and balconies. We match the product to the room and the traffic it takes, tell you where each one fails, and lay it over a properly prepared, level base so it lasts.
What's included
- Laminate (AC3–AC5), engineered hardwood, or SPC/LVT vinyl — chosen per room
- Honest guidance on where wood-look flooring is and isn't a good idea
- Sub-floor levelling and moisture checks before anything is laid
- Skirting, beading and threshold detailing for a finished edge
- Bedroom and living-area focus, with water-safe options for wet zones
- Care and cleaning advice so the finish stays good for years
What it costs
Laminate flooring in Hyderabad broadly runs ₹80–200 per sq ft supplied and laid; engineered wood is higher; quality SPC vinyl sits in the middle. The base preparation matters as much as the plank — we quote both so there are no surprises after the old floor comes up.

Common questions
Is wooden flooring suitable for the Hyderabad climate?
Laminate and SPC vinyl handle our climate very well. Solid hardwood can move with humidity, which is why we usually recommend engineered wood over solid if you want a real-timber surface. In damp-prone spots, vinyl is the safe pick.
Can wooden flooring be laid over existing tiles?
Often yes — if the tile floor is sound and level, laminate and vinyl can float over it with the right underlay, avoiding a messy demolition. We check level and moisture first and tell you if the old floor needs to come up.
Which is better, laminate or vinyl?
Laminate feels closer to real wood underfoot and is very scratch-resistant; vinyl (SPC) is fully water-resistant and quieter. For living rooms and bedrooms we lean laminate; for kitchens, utility and balconies, vinyl.
