01Who we are and what this covers
In shortThis policy explains how Dleaps Tech Solutions Private Limited ("D'leaps", "we") handles personal data across our website, our studio software and our conversations with you.
D'leaps Interior Design Studio is run by Dleaps Tech Solutions Private Limited (CIN U72501TG2020PTC145598, GSTIN 36AAICD1177G1ZO), with its registered studio at Plot no. 23, Highway Colony, L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad, Telangana 500074, India and a second studio in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here: we decide why and how it is used.
This policy covers every place you may share personal data with us:
- www.dleaps.com and its tools: the free estimate, the Vastu floor plan report, Veeha (D'leaps AI), the welcome and consultation forms.
- studio.dleaps.com (Studio OS), the system our team uses to run every enquiry and project. It is where your data is actually kept and managed.
- client.dleaps.com, the client portal and the D'leaps client app, where you follow your project, approve designs and download documents.
- budget.dleaps.com, our budget planner.
- Our WhatsApp Business numbers (+91 91210 00207 and +91 91210 19149), phone calls, e-mail, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, lead forms on Meta and Google ads, and visits to our studios and your site.
If you are an interior design firm using Studio OS as our software customer, section 13 explains how we treat the data you put into it.
02What we collect
In shortWe collect what you give us, what our work on your home produces, and a small amount of technical data from your browser.
| What | Examples | When |
|---|---|---|
| Identity and contact | Name, mobile number, e-mail, city, preferred language, how you heard of us | When you fill a form, call, message us or visit the studio |
| Property details | Address and community, BHK and area, possession stage, floor plan, room photos, measurements, facing direction, Vastu placements | Estimate, Vastu report, consultation, site survey |
| Design and project records | 3D renders, drawings, BOQ (bill of quantities), material and colour choices, approvals and change requests, site photos and videos, snag lists, handover documents | While we design and deliver your home |
| Commercial and payment records | Quotations, contracts, invoices, payment receipts, transaction references, GSTIN for business clients | Booking, each payment milestone, handover |
| Approvals and signatures | E-approvals and finger-drawn signatures on BOQs and designs, with the time, device and IP address of the approval | When you approve in the client portal or app |
| Conversations | WhatsApp, call notes, e-mails, messages to Veeha, questions you ask in a form | Whenever you talk to us |
| Portal and app account | Login phone or e-mail, sign-in events, notification settings, device type for push notifications | When we invite you to client.dleaps.com |
| Technical data | IP address, browser and device, pages visited, the page that referred you, campaign tags (UTM), essential cookies and local storage | Every visit to our websites |
| Partners and applicants | Business and contact details, GST and bank details for payouts, work samples, CVs | When you work with or apply to us |
What we do not ask for. We never need your Aadhaar number, passwords, card numbers or one-time passwords, and we will never ask for them on a call or on WhatsApp. We do not ask about health, religion, caste or political views. If a Vastu or pooja room choice tells us something about your beliefs, we use it only to design that room.
Card and UPI payments are handled by your bank or payment provider. We see the confirmation and reference number, never your full card or account credentials.
03Why we use it
In shortTo answer your enquiry, design and deliver your home, keep you updated, keep our promises on warranty and service, and meet the law. Marketing only with your consent.
| Purpose | What this means | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Respond to you | Call or WhatsApp you back, prepare an estimate, book a consultation or site visit | Your consent, given when you submit a form or contact us |
| Design and deliver | Produce 3D designs and BOQs, order materials, manufacture in our factory, schedule installation, manage the site | Performing the contract you ask us to enter (and your consent) |
| Keep you informed | Project updates, approvals, payment reminders and documents on the portal, WhatsApp and e-mail | Performing the contract |
| Warranty and D'leaps Care | Service visits, warranty claims and spare parts after handover | Performing the contract |
| Accounts and law | Invoices, GST filings, books of account, responding to lawful requests | Legal obligation (a legitimate use under section 7 of the DPDP Act) |
| Safety and security | Preventing fraud, misuse of our tools, spam and abuse | Legitimate use and our duty to keep data secure |
| Improve our work | Understand which pages and tools help people, fix what is broken | Aggregated or de-identified wherever possible |
| Marketing | Offers, new collections, referral programmes, festival campaigns | Only with your separate consent, which you can withdraw any time |
Where we rely on consent, the notice is shown at the point you give it, in plain language, and you can withdraw it as easily as you gave it (section 9). Withdrawing consent does not undo what was lawfully done before, and if you withdraw consent we need to deliver an active project, we will tell you plainly what that means for the project.
04Veeha, the Vastu report and AI
In shortOur AI tools answer questions and read floor plans. What you type or upload is used for your answer and our follow-up, not sold, and not used to train anyone else's model by us.
Veeha, D'leaps AI answers questions about interiors, costs and our process from our own published knowledge base. Your messages are stored so a designer can follow up and so we can improve the answers. Do not type sensitive personal information into a chat.
The Vastu floor plan report takes your floor plan, the direction your main door faces and where rooms sit. The plan is stored in a protected folder on our server that is not reachable from the web, and is seen only by the designer reviewing your report. It is never published.
Some answers and plan readings may be produced with the help of an AI model provider (currently Anthropic, the company behind Claude). When that is switched on, the text or image needed for that one answer is sent to the provider under its commercial terms, which do not allow it to train its models on that data. We will name any provider we add here.
AI output can be wrong. Nothing from Veeha or the Vastu report is a final design, a structural opinion or a price commitment until it is in a BOQ or contract you sign.
05Where your data lives
In shortStudio OS at studio.dleaps.com is our system of record. The website hands enquiries to it and the client portal reads from it.
If Studio OS cannot be reached for a moment, the website keeps your enquiry in a protected queue and sends it as soon as it can, then removes the copy. Floor plans, Vastu reports and Veeha transcripts held by the website sit in folders that refuse all web requests.
Access inside Studio OS is role-based: a site supervisor sees the site details they need, accounts sees invoices, and every change is recorded in an audit trail. Our systems run on servers operated by our hosting provider, with encrypted connections (HTTPS) throughout.
07Data outside India
In shortSome of our providers (for example Meta for WhatsApp, or our AI provider) process data outside India. We use them only where the law allows.
The DPDP Act allows personal data to be processed outside India except in countries the Central Government restricts. We check our providers against any such list and require them to protect data to a standard no lower than this policy.
08How long we keep it
In shortAs long as we need it for the reason you gave it, plus what the law makes us keep. Then it is erased.
| Record | How long | Why |
|---|---|---|
| An enquiry that did not become a project | 24 months from our last conversation | So we can pick up where we left off if you come back |
| Vastu floor plans and reports | 24 months, or sooner on request | For the designer's follow-up and your access to the report |
| Veeha chat transcripts | 12 months | Follow-up and improving answers |
| Project records: designs, BOQs, approvals, site photos | For the life of the project and its warranty | Your warranty and D'leaps Care depend on knowing exactly what was built |
| Invoices, receipts and books of account | 8 years from the end of the financial year | Required by the Companies Act, 2013 and GST law |
| Logs of processing and access | At least 1 year | Required by the DPDP Rules, 2025, and for security investigations |
| Marketing preferences | Until you opt out; the opt-out itself is kept | So we never message you again by mistake |
Before we erase data because its purpose has run out, the DPDP Rules require us to tell you at least 48 hours ahead where the Rules apply, so you can ask us to keep it. Backups roll off automatically within 30 days of erasure.
09Your rights
In shortSee it, correct it, delete it, withdraw consent, complain, and nominate someone. Use the request form; we reply within 30 days.
A summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it, and who it was shared with.
Correct, complete or update anything that is wrong or out of date.
Delete data we no longer need, or that you no longer want us to use, except what the law makes us keep.
Stop a use you agreed to, including all marketing, as easily as you started it.
Complain to our Grievance Officer, and then to the Data Protection Board of India.
Name a person to exercise these rights for you if you die or cannot act yourself.
Make a request or e-mail hello@dleaps.com, or WhatsApp +91 91210 00207
We confirm a request is genuinely yours, usually with a call or WhatsApp from +91 91210 00207, within 2 working days, and complete it within 30 days. The DPDP Rules allow up to 90 days; we do not need that long. There is no charge.
The law also asks something of you: give us accurate information, do not make a request in someone else's name, and do not file a complaint you know to be false.
10WhatsApp, calls and marketing
In shortProject messages are part of the service. Marketing is optional and stops the moment you ask.
- We message you on WhatsApp from +91 91210 00207 and +91 91210 19149. Project updates, approvals and payment reminders are part of delivering your home.
- Offers and campaigns are sent only if you agreed to them. Reply STOP on WhatsApp, use the link in any e-mail, or choose Stop marketing messages.
- Your number may be registered on the National Customer Preference Register (DND). We still call you about an enquiry you made, which the TRAI rules permit, but we do not cold-call DND numbers for promotions.
11Cookies and similar technology
In shortWe use a few essential cookies and browser storage to make the site work. No advertising trackers are set by our pages today.
| Name | Type | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| dlp_vastu | Essential cookie | Keeps your Vastu report unlocked after you sign up, so you do not re-enter details | 7 days |
| PHP session and staff cookies | Essential cookie | Keep the client portal and Studio OS signed in | Until you sign out or close the browser |
| dlp.welcome.v1 | Local storage | Remembers that you closed or completed the welcome form, so it does not reappear | Until you clear site data |
| utm_source / utm_medium / utm_campaign | Campaign tag | Tells us which advert or link brought an enquiry | The session |
| Analytics (if enabled) | Analytics | If we turn on a tool such as Google Analytics, it measures visits in aggregate. This table will list it first | As set by the tool |
You can delete cookies and site data from your browser settings at any time. The site still works without them; the Vastu report will simply ask for your details again.
12How we protect it
In shortEncryption in transit, role-based access, audit trails, protected storage and a 72-hour breach process.
- HTTPS on every page and API of www.dleaps.com, studio.dleaps.com and client.dleaps.com.
- Role-based access and an audit trail in Studio OS; staff see only what their role needs and every change is recorded.
- Uploads, enquiry queues and configuration are kept in folders that refuse web requests; passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
- Staff are trained on handling client data, and partners receive only the details needed for their task.
- If a personal data breach happens, we inform affected people without delay and the Data Protection Board of India within 72 hours, with what happened, what we are doing and what you can do.
No system is perfectly secure. If you think something is wrong, tell us straight away at hello@dleaps.com.
13Firms that use Studio OS
In shortWhen another interior firm uses Studio OS for its own clients, that firm is in charge of its clients' data and we process it only on its instructions.
Studio OS is also offered to other interior design businesses. For the data such a business puts into Studio OS about its own clients, the business is the Data Fiduciary and D'leaps acts as its Data Processor, under the subscription agreement. We do not use that data for our own purposes, and requests from that business's clients are passed to the business to answer.
14Children
In shortOur services are for adults. We design children's rooms without needing a child's personal data.
Our websites and tools are meant for people aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us. We do not knowingly collect a child's personal data, and we do not track or target advertising at children. If we learn we have a child's data without verifiable parental consent, we delete it.
15Other websites
In shortLinks to Instagram, YouTube, Google Maps, brands and others take you to their own privacy policies.
We are not responsible for how other websites handle your data. Reading their policies is worth the two minutes, especially for social platforms.
16Changes to this policy
In shortIf we change how we use your data, we update this page first and tell clients directly when it matters.
The version and effective date are at the top of this page. Material changes are announced on the website and, for active clients, on the portal or WhatsApp before they take effect.
Version 1.0, effective 15 October 2026. Written to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
